Classy yet nuetral

When I bought this lovely dresser visions of paint colors danced in my head. Should she be blue or maybe grey? I couldn't quite decide....then late one night it came to me, it needs to be white BUT with a twist. I have updated this curvy beauty with white and beige paint. I love it! Truly a classy yet neutral piece. I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out.

Fall Porch Chair

Fall is my absolute FAVORITE time of year. Living in Utah you get to really experience all of the seasons and fall is just beautiful with the leaves changing fiery colors and of course decorating for fall! This year I took an old chair I had on the patio out back and turned into a shabby porch chair. The first color I painted it was a creamy white, like this:

I then added bright green to the little bends in the wood-then when that dried I painted over that with a great reddish orange color. I also painted the detailed part around the chair green. As it was heavily distressed the underneath green and cream shown thru it. I love how it looks!

Antique door turned chalk board

A sweet friend gave me an old door. I am the worst and remembering to take before pictures, sorry!
I slapped some oops paint I purchased from Home Depot. Chalk in the middle and new hardware for flare-distressed and ta da! New chalk board :)
